Kevin was appointed Pastor of GCCF in 2022 by the Indiana United Methodist Church Conference, serving 19 years in churches throughout Indiana and North Carolina. He also spends time working in Chaplain services with local Hospices. He grew up in South Bend, IN a Notre Dame Football and Chicago Cubs Baseball fan. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Master’s of Divinity Degree from Duke University. His pastoral vision is to see the Church model for the world that love is an action, and humility isn’t a dirty word.
Candace Carr

Candace Carr, originally from South Bend, is a graduate of Bethel University and holds a dual degree in Behavioral Science and Biblical Studies, as well as a degree in Visual Communication. Her passion for empowering young people is evident from her 20+ years of working with youth and their leaders in the art community and ministry using creative and faith-based modules. Candace is also a devoted mother of three who loves movie nights, exploring nature trails with her boys, discovering new restaurants, and enthusiastically cheering for her daughter during the marching band's halftime performances. With a deep passion for the visual arts, she also teaches for the Indianapolis Art Center, where her distinctive style contributes to the local art community of all ages. Beyond her artistic pursuits, Candace has dedicated significant time to empowering young people, their parents, and youth leaders across the country. Her experience enables her to foster spiritual growth cross-culturally and inspire those around her to do the same.

Angelica joined the Gateway staff in July 2024. As a warm and energetic individual, we’re blessed to have her in the role of church administrative assistant. Angelica has a degree in psychology, strives to understand and support the needs of the community. Originally from the coast of California, she loves the beach and vibrant spirit of the west coast. Angelica is married and a proud mother of three children. She cherishes every moment spent with her family and beloved dog.
Adam Shuntich

Adam is an Indianapolis-based touring and recording musician. Differing from Sunday morning services, he can often be found performing with many of Indy’s local musical outfits, ranging from country to heavy metal, to classical. In addition to performing, Adam is an also a professor of music and music business at two local Universities; Taylor University and his alma matter, Anderson University.
